Ahlan wa sahlan

Ahlan wa sahlan is a poetic way to say “Welcome” in Arabic, and if you understand French enough, you can read this article about those beautiful & meaningful words. In a way, what I think I understood is that it most precisely means “I welcome you as (if you were part of) my family”.

Those two pictures are of the Dadès’ valley, also known as the valley of the monkey fingers, because of the very pecular round rocks you can see on the mountains’ surface.
